Application Support Analyst

Long Term Rolling Contract (12+ Months)

Base Monthly Rate: AED 10,000 - 15,000 (c.£2,200 - £3,300)

Package: Medical Insurance + Gratuity Bonus + Paid Holiday

Global Travel Organisation - Dubai, UAE

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most prestigious organisations in the world on a long term contract as an Application Support Analyst. As a preferred recruitment partner, we have been specifically instructed to assist in the recruitment for this position.

Important: Please note this role will require shift work of the following pattern; four days on (including two 12h morning shifts, and two 12h night shifts), followed by four days off.

Key Responsibilities

-Identify recurring problems and their source through root cause analysis

-Ensure system availability by working with vendors and technical IT teams

-Assist with incident resolution across various technologies and platforms

-Provide status updates on incidents and service requests

-Ensure the escalation process is followed where necessary

-Establish workarounds for the Known Error database

-Proactively identify and highlight issues to reduce system downtime to users

-Review and oversee existing support cases and ensure they kept up-to-date

Technical Experience Required (Not all Essential)

Splunk, ServiceNow, Ansible, Automic, Oracle - PL/SQL, Linux Commands / Unix Commands, Informatica ETL, TIBCO Administrator, WebLogic, JBOSS Basics, SQL Server, SharePoint / O365 (Office 365) Administration, .NET / Java.
