Front Office C# Serverside developer - etrading Investment Bank We are looking for a C# back-end developer with 10+ years' experience including Rx and in-memory Caches, eg; Coherence, Redis, Memcached,Hazelcast etc. You must have experience of developing in-memory caches (thread-safe and scalable).Oracle and/or SQL experience. Commercial experience of Rx (Back End).Java nice to have Ideally experience in Primary markets, Bonds or Etrading. Commercial experience of web applications and very good understanding of the threading, context and session models. Experience gained from other blue chip organisations also consideredExperience handling security flaws of external web applications a plus.
Good analytical skills.
Able to understand, formalise and explain complex problems.
Knowledge and ideally commercial experience of one or more ORM frameworks.
Proficient SQL know-how to optimize queries and DB objects.
Excellent knowledge of programming best practices and design patterns particularly handling concurrency.
Experience packaging modern web applications for deployment a plus.
Strong interest in continuous improvement and all aspects of software development and delivery. Comfortable working in an Agile environment; keeping jira tasks up to date and planning work to fit weekly sprints.
Comfortable interacting with Front Office users.
Confident numeracy and solid academic background in engineering, sciences or economics, Masters degree. Role: The C# Developer will take the lead of Back End core book of work.

Main developer of the Primary business critical Front Office application 2 Back End core functionalities. Act as the Primary business critical Front Office application Back End SME, point of contact for other team members. We are looking for a senior Back End developer to work on our Primary business critical Front Office application. The successful candidate will cover all aspects of the Real Time web application Back End including our in-memory cache and CQN repositories. In addition to the core book of work, the successful candidate will take the lead of the development of new business modules and functionalities potentially leading other developers assigned to the same Epic.
