Our client is a market leading company in their sector who is on the lookout for an IAM Expert to work out of their office based in Cardiff. The IAM Expert will report to the Group Information Security Manager who is responsible for defining the Information Security strategy, policies, standards, processes and procedures and technology, in addition to monitoring compliance with security requirements and addressing any security issues.As an IAM Expert you will join a highly successful and growing team of Security domain experts that are responsible for ensuring that all IAM Services align with both the current transformation programme and future growth, providing authentication and authorisation services to all future systems.
You will take responsibility for all Identity and Access Management Services for applications, systems, data and cloud platforms, whilst ensuring that all architecture, design, development, integration and operations are met. Furthermore, you will ensure that best practice standards and guidelines are enforced throughout the SDLC (from requirements, design, implementation and operations).
The IAM Expert should be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of various IAM platforms, security protocols and transport layers together with the network domain they operate and communicate. The IAM Expert will act as the key Security Management point of contact for all subject matters relating to IAM, whilst providing knowledge of all key management platforms including CyberArk. You will ensure that all logging and monitoring are correct, in addition to carrying out initial hands-on penetration testing of systems during SDLC development. Furthermore, you will lead API gateway, interaction design and protocol knowledge of IDaaS Solutions and Cloud Services. You will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all related technical disciplines that support IAM, in addition to determining and maintaining the correct Architectural model of the IAM solution within the organisation. Main Responsibilities '€¢The IAM expert will be the key point of contact for all matters relating to IAM.'€¢Provisioning of access control measures and ensuring they meet not only the business needs but also legal, regulatory and compliance requirements.'€¢Be able to provide support and advice for projects and to meet business needs.'€¢Determining and maintaining the correct architectural model of the IAM solution and ensuring that this aligns to the broader Shared Components Architecture.'€¢Be able to provide the necessary information, documentation and guidance to allow other systems and applications teams to integrate with IAM. Work with the controlling team to manage not the ITS' budget for the IAM suite.'€¢Excellent Vendor management skills and the ability to oversee third party employees.'€¢You will be expected to have a good understanding of all facets of Information Security. '€¢Knowledge of relevant IAM, Information Security and general Information Technology knowledge. Candidates that can demonstrate this experience and knowledge, but lacking the relevant certifications will be considered, but will be required to attain relevant qualifications (CIGE, CIST, CIAM, CIMP, CAMS, CAP, CISSP, etc.)'€¢Experience of an Identity and Access Management suite and their enterprise implementation, including leading the translation of Business Requirements into technical implementations that reflect the business needs'€¢Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of various IAM platforms, security protocols and transport layers together with the network domain they operate and communicate.
