Growth Manager Salary - £46,413 - £58,512
Location: Leicestershire
Innovation, collaboration and infrastructure - three of the driving forces behind our newly-established Growth Unit. New homes are required in Leicestershire. And that's why we're actively planning to shape the county of the future, ensuring the right homes are in the right place and supported by the right roads, social care and other community facilities. Leicestershire is a high-performing council. Our trailblazing supporting families programme, nationally-acclaimed work with partners developing a strategic growth plan and scooping the ‘most productive council' in the country title for the last two years underline our success and forward-thinking approach. Our brand-new Growth Unit sits at the heart of the council and is charged with coordinating the delivery of this dynamic, high-profile agenda across the authority. The Growth Managers will play a pivotal role. Managing a portfolio of highly sensitive, multi-million-pound development sites, you will lead complex negotiations between a range of organisations, co-ordinate input, manage financial risks, maximise developer contributions and help secure vital Government funding. If you're a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, you could be the ideal candidate. With an in-depth knowledge of economic growth, you'll be a skilled major project manager with experience of developing housing and employment sites. You'll have a proven track record of building successful relationships with senior managers and political leaders and use your energy, drive and influence to navigate complex negotiations, provide sound advice and deliver results. Planning for Leicestershire's future is a top priority. And if you're keen to play a leading role and relish the opportunity to shape the work of the unit from its inception, we want to hear from you.
