Contract Solutions Architect - Up to £600p/d - 6 Months initially

As a preferred recruitment partner to this well-established global financial services organisation we have been instructed to assist with the hire of a Contract Solutions Architect to join within their Newcastle office.

Skills / Environment

*Proven track record working in IT Solution Architecture.

*Proven track record within a wide variety of IT functions, including systems analysis, development and project management.

*Understanding of industry best practice and trends together with their application within a business context.

*Knowledge of a wide variety of technologies including several of the disciplines in strategic IT architecture covering either application, infrastructure, data or security architecture with evidenced practice of at least two domains.

*Broad knowledge of the financial services industry (specific knowledge of the distribution/financial advice business is desirable) and key regulatory requirements together with an understanding of business processes.

* Proven experience of delivering solutions using various delivery methodologies and practises, specifically aligning Agile and Architecture frameworks.

*Experience working with large contract outsourcing supplier partners.

*Experience in developing vision and informing strategic direction on large initiatives.

*Proven experience in designing, standardizing and maintaining assurance practices within a multi-disciplined environment.

*Experience in assessing and challenging demand, root cause and cost and benefit analysis..

*ITIL Practitioner

*Agile Practitioner

*TOGAF certification
