Senior Content Designer (GOV.UK), Government Digital, Public Sector, UX, Experience, User, User-Centred, Designer, Designing, Designed, Developer, Developed, Developing, Website, Platform,Our Central Government client based in London are recruiting for a Senior Content Designer.Location: LondonIR35: Out of ScopeMinimum Requirement:Create, iterate and manage user-centred content using analytics, user feedback, user research and other sources of information, as well as contributing to content principles, improvements and patternsWork closely with other members of your multidisciplinary team to understand user needs and agree the right design approachReview the work of other content designers and experts from other disciplines, and give constructive and honest feedbackIdentify relevant stakeholders and collaborate effectivelyWork closely with a multidisciplinary team to identify user needs, write and map user stories, design content plans, create and publish contentLead on managing relationships between your team and other teams across the organisation to ensure consistency and sharing best practiceContribute to the GDS content community and the cross-government content communityHelp other team members understand what content design is, why it's important and how to work with content designersKey Skills / ExperienceSignificant experience creating, iterating and managing user-centred contentSignificant experience using analytics, user feedback, user research and other sources of information to improve contentStrong project management capability, including the ability to coordinate a number of projects simultaneously and adapt to changing prioritiesSignificant experience working with stakeholders to understand their issues whilst maintaining content qualityExperience of leading small teamsExperience designing and implementing content strategies, as well as proposing and implementing new processesExperience of being responsible for the quality of the work of others and providing constructive feedback on their writingAttention to detailThe ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressureIt is desirable that you have some experience working with GOV.UK or other government sitesSecurity Clearance: BPSSInterview Process: Telephone
