Production EngineerMy client are looking for a contract Production Engineer with experience in highly regulated industries for a long term placement based in the North West.Role:Provide ongoing support of Manufacturing Methods, Procedures, Training, Risk Assessments and Safety in accordance with regulatory requirements.Provide mechanical expertise and fault finding within Operations for a range of products.Use Lean techniques to identify, support and lead improvement projects within manufacturing areasTake a lead role in the introduction of Lean manufacturing, including 5S, workstations, test equipment & documentation design.Ensure processes have efficient flow, a balanced process and identify ways to reduce TAKT Time.Support and work with R&D to ensure the effective introduction of new projects to Manufacturing.Design bespoke storage and component handling for cells including trolleys and assembly fixturesDesign improvements, model them in CAD and prove on test instruments ready for cut-in by EPD.Requirements:Minimum HNC in Engineering - ideally degreeExperience in manufacture or production engineering in medium to high-end electromechanical manufacturingKnowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques and experience of facilitating lean projectsDemonstrated ability in project management, report writing & presentingA working knowledge of IQ OQ PQIdeally experience in a highly regulated industry If you're interested please hit apply.
