Role Overview:

Bring your excellent Change Management experience to us for this exciting new opportunity as Junior Service Manager.

You will be a key member of the team providing a point of coordination for our ADS (Aerospace, Defence and Security) sub-sectors to deliver Management Information and Performance reporting.

You will be based in our Operations Management Centre, providing governance oversight and performance monitoring capabilities (of internal and external suppliers) across the ADS sector

This Service Manager opportunity comes with a great deal of variety as our ADS vertical covers a customer base of blue lights to armed forces.

 About you:

 You will be a Service Manager with at least 3 years' experience delivering ITIL Change Management projects, from cradle to grave. You'll be an excellent communicator with amazing interpersonal skills, passionate about delivering change, solving problems and being that ‘go to' person to escalate all operational situations.

You will be part of a great, collaborative and supportive team, but is an opportunity that comes with a high level of autonomy so someone happy to work with minimal hand holding.

Due to the nature of our client base that you will be working with, you must be eligible for SC Clearance, we will look after this process for you though!

Key Responsibilities:

 Operate as a point of coordination (up- and down-stream) for an ADS Sub-sector

Assist in identifying Single Points of Failure/Dependency (Resource, Process, Technology) and providing solution-based recommendations for improvement;

Act as the SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for the coordination of all stakeholders (internal and external) during major incidents & outages - working with the Service Manager(s), Major Incident Managers (MIM) and Service Desks to ensure client and internal management stakeholders are updated;

Represent delivery in internal meetings including Change and Problem reviews;

Act as a point of coordination for key sub-sector operational activities, including (but not limited to): mandatory training, Exec view reporting (Progress reports, DAIs, scorecards), RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues & Dependencies) reporting, UK SMC (Service Management Community) cascades, completion and maintenance of Key Service Documentation, Incident & Problem monitoring & trend analysis;
