Senior Systems Engineer / Infrastructure / 3rd line Engineer / Vmware /Citrix/ Windows / Nottingham / 3 month contract / £250 -£325 per day Immediate Start

One of our leading clients is looking to recruit a Senior Systems Engineer to join them ASAP

Location - Nottingham

Duration - 3 months

Day Rate - Approx. £250 - £325 per day

Experience:

*Prioritize production-critical issues and escalate issue(s) to the appropriate technical staff

*Complete assigned tasks and normal duties with limited direct supervision

*Assist in planning, design, documentation and implementation of various systems

*Develop, publish and adhere to standards, policies, and procedures

*Maintain network based applications / services

*Install, configure and support Microsoft operating systems and environments

*Have an understanding and the ability to support and maintain a backend infrastructure relating to an ERP system and associated web applications

*Monitor and support network services for Active Directory and Exchange services

*New system procurement, set up, configuration and installation

*On-going maintenance, system checks, security set up and support for existing systems

*Monitor and ensure success of backup processes

Requirements

*MCSA / MCSE / MCITP with a minimum of 3 years infrastructure experience.

*Position requires a valid Driver's License and passport.

*VMware experience including building and deploying new servers/appliances

*Active Directory and Exchange services experience

*Citrix Experience

*Ability and willingness to travel, work remotely and independently
