The role will be working on a new programme of work to deliver an automated suite of reporting. You will be working closely with internal teams to identify and deliver new data sources and maintain data pipelines using Talend ETL. The successful candidate will have previous Agile environment experience to be active in daily stand-ups whilst maintaining close working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to maximise success.

Candidates will bring with them expertise in Data Modelling, ensuring the delivery of secure and efficient data products as well as excellent stakeholder management, together with building relationships throughout the business, and designing & implementing process improvements.

Essential skills:

*Significant and detailed Data Modelling experience

*Database design

*Create Logical Models and turn them into Physical Models

*Advise on Best Practice for ETL Technologies such as Talend, Ab Initio and Informatica

*Database technologies such as MySQL and Vertica (Linux based Databases)

*Performance Tuning to cope with the challenges of large data volumes

*Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Data Modelling
