Background

Canterbury Christ Church University has launched an ambitious programme to deliver a new student record system, transform its business processes and ways of working, with the aim of significantly improving the experiences students and staff have. The programme will also help to make the University's services more efficient, and will make a positive difference to day-to-day working life for University staff by freeing up more time to focus on value-adding activity.

The Role

You will work closely with the MOSI Programme team and liaise key stakeholders across the University, to identify the reporting needs that will need to be developed in our new student record system (Tribal SITS).  You will be responsible for identifying reporting requirements with the business and then the development and deployment of operational reports in Tribal SITS.  You will be expected to work closely alongside with the testing function to ensure that the reports are fit for purpose and meet the requirements. 

The Person

You will have a Degree or equivalent experience in relevant discipline and may have specific business analysis experience.  You will have SITS knowledge and experience of SRL and of working with a student systems database. Experience of writing complex reports using an end-user reporting tool is essential as well as working with SQL.

You will have excellent analysis and problem-solving skills and experience of eliciting and documenting business, functional and non-functional requirements. You will be capable of independently producing high quality programme documentation.  You will have good organisational and time management skills, prioritising and juggling multiple packages of work to meet varying deadlines.
