IT Technician and 3rd Line Software Support

Independent UK software company serving customers in 35 countries with their hosted CRM software. Operating in a niche part of the CRM market, most customers are long term because they like the software and level of service. With a wide range of customers the work is always varied and challenging, and ultimately rewarding.

They are looking for a person to get involved with support of their software at a technical level. You will be using PHP, SQL and HTML, and also have a good command of Linux in order to join the team maintaining Debian servers. In essence you will be:

- Solving technical problems arising from customer queries.

- Special customer projects to undertake which could be data management and/or creating add-on functionality

- Monitoring application servers

- A go-to person who has the initiative and out-of-the-box thinking to be able to assist other team members

At least one year's working experience of:

- Linux

- Apache

- MySQL

- PHP

- HTML

Salary & Perks:

- £24k - £30k depending on knowledge and experience
