Mechanical Design Engineer Commutable from: Leicester, Loughborough, Coalville, Wigston, Birstall, Melton Mowbray, Thurmaston£35,000 - £42,000 + Pension + Excellent Company Benefits Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer ideally with experience in design for automation or for special purpose machinery looking to join an industry leading company and innovative company who supply a number of blue chip clients?On offer is an autonomous role where you will work on high tech, innovative and technically advanced designs and you will be seen as an expert at what you do. Working with a massive range of blue-chip clients, the company specialise in the manufacture and design of a range of equipment and are well known for their high standards of service and product. This is an exciting opportunity for a Design Engineer to join a highly skilled team.This is a diverse role working on a range of innovative designs. You will ideally from a background in the design of special purpose machinery, automation equipment or similar. The Role:

- Produce mechanical designs for special purpose machines and equipment

- Input within Project meetings throughout full process

- Technical coordination with colleagues, customers and suppliersThe Person:

- 3D CAD experience ideally in SolidWorks - Other CAD packages considered

- You will have Special Purpose Machinery Design experience or similar
