Software Developer - C / Perl / Python - Knutsford - Up to £60k I am currently working with an industry leader that are looking to add to their infrastructure and development team. This role is for a Software Engineer / Developer who will be working amongst like minded professionals that all want to provide the highest level of development driven solutions. You will be faced with various challenges, working multiple projects and supporting some of my clients key applications which ultimately will cement you in the position of a expert in the support field as well as allowing you to gain recognition across the organisation. This is a salaried position which is paying up to £60,000 as well as a great benefits package. Engineer, develop and maintain the Performance and Enterprise Systems solutionDeliver solutions using Agile software development processesManage and (where appropriate) undertake the building of relevant infrastructure and software required to create the Development, Test and Production environmentsTake technical decisions to ensure optimal performance and stability of the platformParticipate and feed into roadmap and strategic direction of productKeep stakeholders appraised of progress and issues I am looking for the following experience... Software development experience and expertise, primarily 'C' & Perl and scripting skills in Python, Javascript, GIT Source Code Management toolDeep Operating Systems knowledge, mainly Linux & Windows and some AIXCore WEB Knowledge, mainly HTML/CGI/CSS/JS/APIs, JS Frameworks such as AngularJS, Node.js and Bootstrap.Knowledge of OpenSource Project - Ganglia.
