Our client is a leading global organistaion - They are looking to recruit a Senior Oracle Developer to start ASAP. You must have considerable experience in Unix and Oracle PL/SQL and Web Technology - HTML, JavaScript, and JQuery and will have a background in software development. You must have sound understanding of the whole stack from operating systems, databases, web servers, configuration management and software development.Essential skills / experience
'€¢Extensive PL/SQL Development experience'€¢Essential - Working knowledge of UI skills - HTML, JavaScript and JQuery'€¢Understands and can speak to all aspects of the software development lifecycle'€¢Technical and troubleshooting experience, including the ability to work under pressure and think outside the box, diagnose log files, simulate problems, etc.'€¢Participates in the evolution of company level best practices, standards, and policies as it relates to software development'€¢Strong Unix/Linux and Unix Shell Scripting'€¢Oracle Database experience'€¢Oracle RDBMS, SQL*Plus and strong PL/SQL
Key duties / repsonsibilities
'€¢Building a comprehensive understanding of applications, systems and infrastructure.'€¢Communication with key stakeholders and development teams on technical solutions.'€¢Perform application and systems development duties using technologies such as SQL, PL/SQL., Shell Scripting under AIX'€¢Provide level 3 technical support on Oracle, UNIX and application issues
