Systems Engineer - SC / DV Cleared

A Systems Engineer is required to join an established team. The role will involve the development of Satellite Communications (SATCOM) and Small Satellite systems through the full system development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

-Define the technical architecture of hardware/software solutions

-Help validate high level solution designs that can be de-composed into component deliverable services

-Demonstrate an understanding of the nature and operations of Satellite Communications (SATCOM) and Small Satellite systems

-Translating user and business requirements into hardware and software technical specifications

-Defining requirement compliance and acceptance criteria prior to system and component sign off

-Maintaining requirements traceability

-Systems level detailed design

-Researching and resolving system design issues

-Provide interpretation of requirements and design into the component design and implementation

For this role experience of systems engineering within satellite or satellite communications programmes is required. Demonstrable experience of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) architecture/engineering (e.g. MODAF, TOGAF)

Locations for the role vary - Harlow, Gloucester and Manchester.
