The IT Asset Manager is responsible for the operational and strategic management of software and hardware assets within the organization. You will be responsible for ensuring all Software and Hardware assets are being recorded and tracked in a centralised Configuration Management Database (CMDB) with accurate Configuration Item (CI) mapping to business services. The individual will work closely with the Commercial team to influence procurement strategies to optimize technology spend across the organization. The IT Asset Manager will also develop and implement procedures for tracking company assets to oversee quality control throughout their lifecycles.

As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:  

Ensure the adherence to IT Asset Management (ITAM) process across the group through an effective governance framework 

Define Asset Management policies and governance to ensure legal, security and regulatory compliance.

Ensure compliance to software and hardware vendors contractual terms by effectively tracking, monitoring, reporting, auditing, renewing and disposing assets throughout their lifecycle

Responsible for tracking and reporting of Cloud infrastructure consumption and billing across multiple cloud platforms

You will need:

Experience of budgeting and forecasting

Solid experience and background in IT Asset Management with a detailed understanding of a broad range of Hardware, Software and Configuration operating models

Good understanding of commercial objectives and budgeting cycles

Procurement Certification
