Test Lead - FTC - 18 months
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Test Lead to secure an exciting 18 months fixed term position with an industry leading and cutting-edge financial services and insurance company, based in Potters Bar (Hertfordshire). This Test lead role is perfect for someone with excellent knowledge of manual, automated regression and performance testing as well as proven Test Lead or Senior Test Analyst experience, leading the QA effort of a team of testers.
This industry leading business are improving its product and technology suite, resulting in substantial IT and Business Change. This places significant demands on the existing testing capabilities As a result, the QA Team is expanding to meet these demands and the Test Lead will be a key contributor to the IT department during this time. There may be future permanent role opportunities in the Test Team.
The Test Lead will be responsible for project testing activities including functional testing, performance testing, regression testing and co-ordinating the use of automation to optimise test & delivery efficiency. The Test Lead is also responsible for mentoring and training other testers.
Essential technical skills required for Test Lead:Excellent knowledge of manual, automated regression and performance testingProven Test Lead or Senior Test Analyst experience, leading the QA effort of a team of testersStrong experience working within an agile (SCRUM) development environmentAbility to challenge processes and implement changes to achieve optimum efficiencyPrevious experience within the financial industry is highly desirableExcellent communications skills are vitalThis is an excellent 18 months fixed term contract opportunity for a skilled Test Lead to work on huge and exciting projects, with the latest technologies.
Salary: Up to £56k + Outstanding Company Benefits
