The Cyber Security Directorate at Ofgem is playing a critical role in ensuring that our people, data, operations and facilities are protected from threats. As our Senior Compliance Manager, you will monitor, support, report and instruct against the regulatory framework to ensure operational systems and networks in the electricity and downstream gas sectors remain resilient against cyber and related security threats. Operating at a senior level, you will help to demystify regulations, oversee audits, provide scrutiny and escalate issues where appropriate.
Significant experience in a security auditing/inspection role is essential. With a degree in cyber, engineering or technology, and a professional qualification is ISO 27001: 2013 Lead Auditor (CISA equivalent), you will have recent, relevant skills in conducting audit inspections, performing security risk assessment, reviewing reports and providing risk analysis. The ability to understand critical infrastructure, communicate potential threats or issues, and implement processes for dealing with and managing security incidents is vital.
