Who they are looking for?

A client of mine based in Manchester City centre is urgently looking for a true Senior DevOps engineer who is an advocate of DevOps and can come on board and consult them on best industry practices.

In addition to this, the ideal candidate must be able to sit within a windows operating system and have strong AWS experience. My client has emphasised that the right candidate must be able to implement and understand what 'Good' DevOps industry practices look like.

Location: Manchester

Rate: £550 - £600

Contract length: 4 months initially (Very likely to be extended)

Start date: ASAP

The project:

This project sits outside IR35 and requires a Senior DevOps engineer who has extensive experience using CICD pipelines, Test automation, Security tools, deployment lines, monitoring.

You will sit within a cross functional agile delivery team whilst delivering projects for their cloud platform (AWS). At this moment in time they are looking to build the platform team out ready for Projects to be rolled out.

Essential skill

- AWS

- Ansible

- Terraform

- Jenkins

- Docker

- Experience of using Windows Operating systems

They are looking for someone who knows what 'Good' looks like when it comes to DevOps practices.

DesirableSkills:

- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft

Work arrangements:

You will be required to work 5 days a week 7.5 hours a day

Remote working - potentially 1-2 days remote working

The client is prepared to wait for people with up to two week's notice but ideally looking for someone asap.
