Geotechnical EngineerThis is an exciting opportunity for a candidate to work within a growing business. My client has expanded acquiring another site and is looking for a Geotechnical Engineer with a Structural background on a long term basis to oversee a range of projects. The company are the leading manufacturer of and installs water management systems for a number of industries including Water, Marine, Rail, Highways, Renewable Energy and Housing.Contract length - 1 year + Rates per hour - DOE - generous remuneration for the right candidate Location - Somerset and Newport Travel between offices in Somerset and Newport will be required. You will need to live within a commutable distance for both offices - so ideally Bristol, Bath, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Cardiff and surrounding areas. Some homeworking a possibility.This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone to gain experience and responsibility. My client is looking for a dynamic outgoing individual to fit into a well-established friendly team. Personality is a key factor, approachable, charismatic and straightforward and flexible.CAD - SolidWorks FEA Structural Engineering experience Plastic Structure knowledge desirable Some management/ project management experience to oversee a team would be advantageous. Background within the Water Industry an advantage but not necessary. Degree in related Engineering discipline Chartered Engineer Status would be favourable but not compulsory.
