You could be joining a City based financial software house that provide a range of web based trading and single-dealer platforms. As a Build and Release Manager you will take ownership of builds, continuous integration, release, installers and build infrastructure, improving the existing systems and introducing new tools to support the delivery of multiple product components to their client base.

You'll maintain a reliable CI/CD infrastructure, giving fast feedback to software engineers and assisting them with their own builds, including knowledge sharing and code reviews; you'll also help QA to produce code quality and performance metrics. As a senior member of the team you will mentor one other and help to grow the team.

Requirements:

Strong Build & Release experience

Good understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD); including tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity

Experience of using and administrating Linux systems

Knowledge of Configuration Management tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible or SaltStack

Experience of using containers to build and deploy software e.g. Docker, Kubernetes

Experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation

Collaborative with excellent communication skills; keen to share knowledge and learn

Nice to have: Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
