SC Cleared Systems Engineer (CSE)6 monthsPortsmouth £400pdMy Client is looking for an individual who is willing and able to work in a combined military and civilian team environment predominantly at PTP, however the ability and willingness to travel to other locations in the UK and abroad to support external supplier testing and trials will also be necessary.EssentialA strong background of simulation and stimulationHNC/HND/Degree in a relevant subject, or other qualifications with suitable experienceKnowledge and understanding of Systems Engineering methods and processesKnowledge of maritime combat system equipment integration testing processesWillingness to travel as requiredUnderstanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP and UDPUnderstanding of simulation protocols e.g. DIS and HLAUnderstanding of virtualisation technology, ESXi, VMsMBSEAs a STEATS Systems Engineer you will operate within a team of engineers to deliver the synthetic test environment and analysis tools in support of the NCSISS contract. You will be required to conduct activities as directed by the team's Senior Systems Engineers, working in partnership with the NCSISS Project Manager to ensure a consistent approach to the design, delivery and support of our products and advice in accordance with a through life management plan.This will be a great opportunity to put your current skills to the test!
