Apple Retail is looking for an experienced SEO Program Manager to oversee our organic search efforts in EMEIA, to be based in our London office. The position requires a hands-on, get-the-job-done, attitude. You understand SEO best practices and can conceive, plan, and deliver complex projects that drive the business forward. You understand that our organic search presence is an extension of Apple's marketing - and need to be at the same level of quality. And you're great at establishing relationships with key partners across the Apple organization. You'll be part of the core digital marketing team responsible for shaping the voice of the Apple products across organic, paid and internal search. This means you will work with a cross-functional team across marketing, engineering, product management and merchandizing.

Key Qualifications

Experience with SEO for a global enterprise or digital agency.

Self-starter, self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Solid experience managing complex international, large-scale, and time-critical technical projects in fast paced and changing environments.

Experience managing an agency or SEO team.

Expert understanding of SEO analytics. Ability to define program metrics and collaborate with analytics on program reporting.

Expert understanding of the latest SEO standard methodologies across all major search engines worldwide.

Excellent verbal, visual, and written communication skills, especially an ability to simplify complex data into actionable insights.

Description

You are responsible for shaping the organic search strategy for Apple products and services related to the European and emerging markets. You are responsible for meeting the EMEA SEO revenue targets by implementing regionally relevant optimization decisions in collaboration with the regional marketing lead. You are responsible for being able to articulate EMEA's SEO performance and helping the commercial lead integrate these insights into future plans. You are an evangelist for regional and global SEO programs and projects, communicating the impact on EMEA's financial and brand goals of WW SEO projects. You will manage the organic search feature backlog and bring projects through from ideation to production with a dedicated engineering team using Agile principles. You will manage the relationship with the engineering team, attending weekly meetings for continuous sprint planning and backlog grooming. Work in close alignment with other program managers to continuously find new business opportunities. Manage the partnership with the SEO Agency and responsible for allocating the available resources for projects across the AMR and EMEA region in close collaboration with the SEO program managers in Cupertino. Own the prioritization, execution and reporting of focus areas on a quarterly basis, and the communication of these to the relevant stakeholder within the local team. Develop appropriate critical metrics for SEO related projects and create the necessary reports to communicate performance.
