IC Resources is working with a global client who is a leader in their field who require a Senior DevOps based onsite in Cork, Ireland. You will be part of a global team that provides best in class virtualisation solutions. The focus of the DevOps role is in maintaining and building infrastructure and services within an On Prem Cloud infrastructure backed by a VMware solution.
Your role will be collaborating with other teams to implement solutions to enhance the cloud environment in areas such as self-service features, new functionality, monitoring etc. You will be working in a cross functional team ensuring that traditional services and applications are modernised, deploying new tech, utilising agile methodologies and a CI/CD pipeline.
Key Skills:
-Strong DevOps background
-PowerCLI
-VMware
-Automation
-Understanding of scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, Terraform etc
Key Tasks:
-Automation of tasks
-Modernising traditional services
-Design, architect virtualisation deployments globally
- Scripting repetitive manual tasks
