You will be joining an exciting new phase as my executes the next stage of there IT strategy .
Role Purpose:
To work as a Developer within the Digital Development Team, providing quality code working with the Team Lead to deliver high quality solutions.
Role would suit a Developer looking to work within a motivated agile team within a forward-thinking web development team.
Key Tasks
*Develop in required technologies: ASP.NET, MVC, C#, HTML / XHTML, CSS, JQuery, XML, WCF & SQL.
*Create build & deployment pipelines to optimise code delivery & configure infrastructure.
*Use Infrastructure as code to provision components using appropriate frameworks (eg: Terraform)
*Utilise APIs to deliver solutions - both internally developed and 3rd party Cloud services
*Integrate development planning tools (eg: Jira) & automated testing with build & deployment pipeline
*Communicate with dev and test colleagues around the build & deploy process.
Need To Know
*Knowledge and understanding Agile working methodologies
*Role requires a mid-level technical expertise in ASP.NET, MVC, C#, HTML / XHTML, XML, WCF & SQL, BitBucket, TFS,Git, Grunt ,NPM, TeamCity, Octopus, Visual Studio, IntellijIdea
*Excellent team player
*Ability to work with minimal supervision in a very dynamic and timeline sensitive work environment.
*Ability to understand technical issues.
*Understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures.
*Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle.
