Global Commodity Manager Based in Luxembourg (International travel 50% of the year) EUR80,000 - EUR120,000 + Training + Progression + Pension + Healthcare Package Are you looking for a highly autonomous, challenging, hands on position where you will play a key role in the development of sourcing strategies for a number product groups and the future growth for one of the world's largest companies? With increased demand and clear growth plan for the business, they are now looking to recruit a Global Commodity Manager to be based out of their European location. In this role you will be responsible for working with multiple product groups to understand their needs and expectations and leading global sourcing teams to deliver on these groups at various locations. You will be setting up and running the commodity groups, so you will be involved in the strategy and hands on delivery, along with vetting suppliers, negotiating contracts and cost saving. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commodity management, with knowledge of both hands on start-ups and strategy. You will come from a heavy industrial background, such as fabrication, oil and gas, power generation, nuclear or similar.
