Windows Server Engineer London to £380 p/day
Windows Server Engineer. Global Investment Research and Management firm is seeking a Windows Server Engineer to upgrade and replace 250 Dell servers to Windows Server 2016. You'll be racking new servers and deploying the OS to them. You will take ownership choosing an appropriate migration date; prior to this you will need to carryout co-location Data Centre work (ensuring equipment on site); you'll ensure the Server 2016 image is built and all the correct drivers installed. You'll look to automate as much as possible using scripting to improve and automate processes.
You'll be joining a collaborative team based in fantastic City offices.
Requirements:
Strong Windows Server Engineer experience
Data Centre experience
Windows deployment experience
Strong scripting; PowerShell ideally (Python, Perl)
Collaborative with strong communication skills
Must be able to work weekends as required during maintenance window
