Data Governance Project Manager
We are currently working in close partnership with a market leader in the property sector.  We are looking an experienced Project Manager who has specific knowledge around data governance.The individual in this role would first be expected to manage the Data Governance Programme. The data governance programme is a major programme for the client and will cover any remaining GDPR issues, the rollout of an EDMS system to improve knowledge management, upgrades to the bespoke core system, tackling data quality both within the clients systems and in business processes where the data is collected.  You will also being a driving force for a cultural change in attitude towards our data. This is an opportunity for an experienced, determined & data-savvy hands-on programme manager to work closely with the client's senior management to drive significant change across the business. The focus of this role will be on the data governance programme for a significant period, but the individual in this post will then drive other data-led projects which will help transform the business.Key Accountabilities:

'€¢To drive the data governance programme (to be followed by others) and ensure that it takes effective and practical action in tight deadlines.'€¢To plan, present and chair meetings at Director level to ensure that data issues which are impacting the client can be surfaced and buy-in gained for the relevant actions to be taken for them to be tackled. '€¢To ensure that all our stakeholders are clearly kept up to date on a weekly basis, with any emerging issues flagged early. '€¢To personally drive the change that is decided upon, using charm, senior visibility or ‘nagging' as appropriate to ensure that the relevant tasks are carried out. '€¢Where reasonable, provide advice and guidance on issues relating to data protection / GDPR / data. '€¢Work closely with business analysts and process owners to aid them in the practical steps of upgrading their processes. Essential criteria = (E) Preferred criteria = (P) Knowledge:                                Relevant professional qualifications in project management - e.g. PRINCEII, PMP, MSP (P)                               Advanced skills in Microsoft applications, specifically Excel, Outlook, Project, Visio and Word. (P)Experience:                               A proven track record in managerial/consultancy work, with senior level experience. (P)                               Experience in financial, contract and risk management. (P)                               Experience of successful implementation of change management and organisational change. (P)                               Experience of working with a range of stakeholders and specialist professionals. (P)                               Experience of project management and reporting requirements. (E)Skills:                                Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and work calmly and confidently under pressure.  (E)                               Strong communications at all levels (E)                                Ability to network and build effective working relationships and partnerships inside and outside Paradigm.                                Pragmatic, solution focused approach to work. (E)                               Basic project management skills- producing project plans, managing budget, managing risks, issues, dependencies and change. (E)                               Strong data skills essential. (E)                               Ability to command respect and to create a sense of community amongst the often disparate members of the project teams. (E)                               Excellent preparation & presentation skills for internal and external audiences.
