security operations engineer, SOC, SECOPS, iso27001, CISSP, CSOC, Cyber The Role:My client is currently hiring for a security analyst to join their existing security operations team.The Sec ops team are currently responsible for ensuring the company compliance with information security controls, management policies and procedures that are a core component of the ISO 27001 certification. The team is also responsible for monitoring, assessing and improving security measures for the protection of systems, networks and data ensuring appropriate controls are in place. Main responsibilities:Leads the response to security incidents and analysis of eventsAnswering security questions from internal customersPerforming vulnerability testing and assessment of remediation requirementsDocument security policies, procedures and testTechnical analysis (in conjunction with architectural teams) of new systems and softwareSupporting security engineering teams in ensuring that security systems and software are running and up to date Skills:Establashed in security operations activities, possibly in a SOC environmentWorked with wider operational security in international organisationsExperience of working with a ISO27000 ISMSKnowledge of technical security controlsExperience of working with cloud platforms Azure / AWSTechnical and general security certifications.
