Infrastructure Engineer - Upgrade

Fixed Term Contract - up to 4 months

Leonardo is looking to recruit an Infrastructure Upgrade Contractor based out of its Customers site in Mons, Belgium. One of our major customers are undergoing an upgrade / migration phase to their infrastructure and Leonardo MW are looking for contractors to assist with this upgrade / migration.

Leonardo requires an Infrastructure Upgrade Contractor with experience of network security to assist its Enterprise Security Engineering Team on customers site in Mons, Belgium. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience within a previous systems engineering role, preferably working in a secure environment, and preferably carrying out other major upgrade / migration activities.

The successful candidate will be a member of a specialised engineering team that is responsible for the ongoing systems engineering efforts and upgrade / migration efforts of our customers network.

The successful candidate must have a strong all round technical ability with an excellent working knowledge of systems infrastructure technologies. Upgrade / migration activity will require an awareness of cyber security capabilities, and an understanding of enabling security lockdown controls and application data migration within such an environment.

Key Responsibility Areas

*Assist the Enterprise Security Engineering team upgrade and migrate Windows Server 2008 R2 to Windows Server 2016, along with migrating multiple applications and application data.

Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge Required

Skills and experience in the following areas is mandatory:

*Enterprise Networking & Services (TCP/IP Networks, devices & services (e.g. DHCP/DNS)

*Infrastructure build experience

*Windows Server 2016 installation, configuration, and maintenance experience.

Skills and experience in the following areas is advantageous:

*Upgrade / migration to later versions of:

oWindows Server OS's

oSQL server

oSCCM

oMcAfee ePO

oVMware vCenter

oMicrosoft Exchange

*Experience of Hardening Windows Server OS' / GPO resolution after hardening

*Previous experience of working within secure / isolated / air gapped environments.
