Contract IT Project Manager - £600p/d - £650p/d - 9 Months initially

As a preferred recruitment partner to this well-established global financial services organisation we have been instructed to assist with the hire of a Contract Project Manager to assist with the implementation of a new Payments platform.

You will provide technology strategy planning for projects, integrate information technologies into the company, coordinate with internal resources and vendors on execution of projects, ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.

Key Deliverables:

*Develop, own and drive Programme Implementation/Deployment Plan in liaison with Programme workstreams; including

oImplementation/Deployment Strategy

oRollback Strategy

oChairing Go/No-Go calls

oArchive and Decommissioning solution and plans

oPost go-live Hypercare

oDay 2 Release planning

oTransition and Handover to BAU

oScheduling Dry run of Deployment activities

*Identification of all stakeholders and keep informed on Implementation/Deployment status

*Plan and implement Rollforward and rollback testing prior to deployment in collaboration with Test Workstream

*Liaise with Change Approval Board (CAB)

*Participate in Production Infra design

Key Skills:

*Proven track record of delivery of large scale projects.

*Experience of managing 'Virtual' teams across function, a cross business, and geographies.

*Experience of delivery using 3rd Parties(both delivering with and management)

*Strong knowledge of IT Delivery lifecycle and software methodologies.

Experience of working in a Financial Services environment
