Purpose

Embarking on a major IT Transformation project to drive change throughout our businesses, we're looking for a Scrum Master to contribute to the development and realisation of our IT strategy. Through building high performing SCRUM teams who are well organised, disciplined and foster a culture of learning, you will be a critical member of the project delivery organisation, servicing Product Owners, Development/Project Teams and the organisation generally.  You will ensure that goals, scope and product domain are understood by all members of the Scrum Team, aswell as leading and coaching the organisation in its Scrum adoption.

Responsibilities

Servicing the various Stakeholders (Product Owner, Development Team and the Organisation) you will ensure that goals, scope and product domain are understood by all members of the Scrum Team and techniques are found for effective Product Backlog Management to maximise value.  Through effective coaching techniques you will coach the Development Team in self-organisation and cross-functionality to help them create high-value products.  As Scrum Master you will lead the organisation in the adoption and implementation of Scrum, helping employees and Stakeholders understand it, while working with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organisation.

Skills & Requirements

Being an excellent communicator with strong organisational skill, you will be able to confidently organise and plan SCRUM teams to ensure maximum velocity and output, along with influencing Stakeholders at both business and technical levels. Coupled with extensive IT experience, along with a SCRUM certification you will contribute to the Development Team in creating high value products.

What We Offer

This is a permanent contract. Salary for this role will be from £45,840 to £57,300 per annum. Other benefits for this role include a performance related bonus up to 10% and single cover health care.
