AWS DevOps Engineer - £600-£750 per day - 12 Months - Central London Jefferson Frank are working exclusively with one of the most innovative AWS Consulting Partners. They are looking for an accomplished DevOps Engineer to work on a large-scale Greenfield project for one of their Enterprise customers. You will ideally have experience building secure, scalable infrastructure and will have carried out various cost optimisation and governance tasks. Software Development experience is desirable, however isn't a must. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of the most exciting AWS Consulting Partners delivering time-critical projects for multiple Enterprise clients. This is a hands-on role, however the partner are looking for someone to come in and provide a consultative approach to help get the best out of team and the upcoming project. This role offers very flexible working with a healthy amount of remote work after the initial 6 weeks. Essential experience: - Proven experience working on multiple AWS services (AWS, EC2, S3, Route53, VPN, VPC, Lambda)- Exposure to AWS build and migration- Container Orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker- Building Infrastructure-as-code: CloudFormation, Terraform- Configuration management: Ansible, Puppet, Chef- High competency of scripting: Python, Java, Javascript/Node.js- Hands-on experience implementing / deploying DevOps best practices within AWS Desirable: - Building AWS stacks from scratch- Cost optimisation & governance- Working as part of an Agile team- Consulting experience- AWS Certification - Associate level or above
