Are you a telecoms/IT/NOC Engineer experienced in working with networking technologies and looking for an exciting opportunity offering training and long term progression? This role is with a major player in the utilities market. The role is extremely varied and requires some customer facing activities as well as back office network and product development work, and is working with leading edge access technology using GPON Fibre to the Home (FTTH). The role: Day to day management of the fibre network responding to alarms, customer queries and supporting on site teams.Maintaining Linux and Microsoft based systems.Working on the test and evaluation of new hardware and software networks The Person: Relevant Engineering degree (telecoms/IT) or industry qualification such as CCNAWorking experience in a telecoms/networking environmentIdeally you will have experience in one or more of the following IP, Ethernet and GPON networking This is a full time, permanent position based in central Cardiff working Mon-Fri offering 25 days holiday, career progression, pension, life assurance To apply for this position please email your CV to nick smith Close date 13/9/19
