Position: Technical Support ConsultantSalary range: £20,000-£30,000 depending on experience Location: OxfordMy client are looking for someone who is passionate and serious about developing their career in technical system support to fill the role of Junior Software Installations Consultant.The position would be working within the Government Delivery team helping to provide installation, upgrade and data migration services from the Oxford based office.About the role:First and second line support: The main part of the role involves dealing with support requests submitted by our customers to do with our suite of products.Upgrades and patches: We also get involved with assisting our clients and OCC implementation managers by performing upgrades and applying patches to client systems.User testing: New versions of our software are released every month and to ensure we can continue to support our customers in using the software we have to make sure that it is usable. Requirements:Experience in application supportAble to write queries in SQL for Microsoft SQL ServerTechnical troubleshooting skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExperience reviewing or writing technical documentationDesirable Skills:Experience with reporting tools (eg.
