Shared Infrastructure Build and Release Manager

Would you like to have an lasting impact within a growing and developing team? We currently have a vacancy for a Shared Infrastructure Build and Release Manager at our site in New Malden.

As a Shared Infrastructure Build and Release Manager, you will be Leading the team with regards to builds and releases across multiple projects as well as defining the Shared Infrastructure builds and content. You will also be managing builds CCB's and overall build process, confirming build contents and producing required documentation (e.g. Software Version Descriptions). You will also have responsibility for understanding the commonality between projects, builds and delivers ensuring that all scope tasking is completed within agreed delivery timescales.

Your main responsibilities as a Shared Infrastructure Network Engineer will involve:

Lead the SI release and builds. Confirming build contents and plans

Conduct Release Scope Reviews, internal meetings e.g. Change Control Board meetings.

Support the production of Design Certification for the SI product.

Create the Documentation for each SI release.

Use and maintain Management Plans and processes as the role requires.

Oversee the build tools and confirm versions plus third party software

Look at process improvements with regard to builds and deliveries

Confirm build contents post creation and active involvement in seeing that builds are as expected from a testing perspective.

Your skills and qualifications:

Essential:

Background in engineering with good organisational, oral and written communication skills.

Background in product delivery

Skilled in the use of MS Excel and MS Project

Degree in an engineering or scientific discipline, or equivalent work experience.

Desirable:

Proven track record of working in an engineering management role

Evidence of strong organisational skills
