Delivery Manager (Government, Transport), West Midlands, Birmingham, Agile, Kanban, GDS, Digital, Project Manager, Jira, Confluence, Public Sector, Dynamics, Microsoft, CVS, CRM, Strategy, Strategic,Our client based in West Midlands is looking to secure a Delivery Manager to support the delivery of the Phase 1 Beta project currently in flight. The client-side Delivery Manager will oversee the delivery of the other digital partners, representing the interests of the client and the project.This contract has resulted from a extension to the current in-flight project. The project is working to a challenging timeline and therefore delivery continuity and ability to integrate with the existing delivery team and project approach (Agile Kanban Flow) will be prioritised.The roleTo deliver the agreed digital scope as defined by the CVS project governance function.To ensure delivery quality meets the requirements of the Service OwnerTo ensure delivery meets the agreed milestones and deadlinesTo ensure delivery expenditure remains within agreed budgetsTo ensure services developed by the project meet client and GDS standardsTo ensure service releases meet client support standards and are supported by appropriate artefacts.Key Skills / ExperienceManagement of Agile digital delivery teamsDigital delivery to GDS standardsEffective budget managementEffective supplier managementKnowledge of Government digital landscapeAgile delivery within the Government transport governance structuresGDS Service standardsIntegration of clouds with on-premise servers/services and data centresData and Service migrationDefine and document enterprise and project approachesJiraConfluenceExperience of Agile Kanban Flow methodologiesExperience of delivery forecasting using Monte Carlo simulationsKnowledge of Microsoft DynamicsMentoring and knowledge transfer
