Embedded Engineer

I am looking for an experienced embedded engineer to join my client on an contract basis, based near Southampton.The successful embedded engineer will have strong experience with Embedded C, VHDL code and experience with FPGA'sIdeally will also have a backgroudn or experince with Signal Processing. You will be responsible for developing an implementation in firmware of an existing demodulation algorithm.Essential:

•Strong in the development, simulation, and test of VHDL code.•Strong in the development, simulation, and test of embedded C code.•In depth knowledge of signal processing

Desired:

•Experience developing for the Virtex 6 FPGA family. â€¢Experience developing for the TMS320C6678 or similar DSP processor.•Background in signal processing.
