Initially a 4 month contract

paying £300-£325 pay per day

Our client is looking for an SC cleared Desktop support engineer to be based in Yeovil on an initial 4 month contract looking to be extended, if the below details look of interest then please send your CV directly to me for review,

ROLE OVERVIEW:

This role is to fulfil a requirement for a skilled Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Domain Services, Microsoft Exchange, and VMware VDC plus experience with storage systems, Microsoft SQL, IBM AIX and Linux.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in successfully delivering a range of support functions in systems installation, monitoring, troubleshooting and diagnostics. The role will be based at a Customer site in Yeovil and will involve:

*liaising with internal and customer teams to deliver 1st, 2nd and 3rd line technical support;

*providing Systems Administration including implementation, configuration and maintenance;

*out of hours work as required to meet Customer needs.

The successful candidate must be willing to go on 24x7 "On-call" support rotation if required

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
