This role will conduct Cyber Risk Management (CRM) and support the development of

coherent cyber risks across the MOD to drive requirements.

Responsible for embedding and managing an effective CRM process tailored to their respective TLB or BU that is coherent with the centralised defensive cyber CRM function.

Candidates should expect to collaborate with broader embedded teams to ensure coherence, as well as conduct knowledge transfer to TLBs own risk

practitioners and the junior risk analysts internal to the embedded team.

Outputs -

* Provide evidenced and coherently scored disaggregated cyber risks into the centralised CRM function

* Develop coherent CRM processes, language and understanding

* Maintain critical asset register with mapped risks

* Maintain guidance regarding the interpretation of risk aligned to Target Risk levels.

* Ensure risks are communicated to those who require it (i.e. mapped to Through Life Capability Management)

* List plausible interventions (controls and mitigations) for identified cyber risk

* Ensure requirements (resulting from cyber risk) are raised into the appropriate authority

Essential:

Knowledge of the MOD built up from working in different operational domains and/or MOD organisations over recent years

CCP SIRA at Practitioner or equivalent

Demonstrable risk management experience

Desirable:

Knowledge of the TLB/BU to which they are assigned developed from previous involvement within that TLB/BU

Working knowledge of NIST CSF

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 18 weeks.
