A new opportunity for a CAD Support Engineer has arisen at a successful Semiconductor company in Switzerland specialising in Analog circuit design for consumer, automotive and industrial applications. Joining their established design centre based in the scenic French speaking part of Switzerland, you will be tasked with supporting Analog and Mixed Signal design flows incorporating design tools including Cadence and Synopsys.

You will be in charge of design kit development as well as supporting designers during all design phases from specification to tapeout.

Other tasks include,

- Interfacing with CAD vendors (eg Cadence and Synopsys) to ensure optimised design flows

- Support Design Teams with respect to design kit / tools / flow

- Support and maintain a streamlined tool flow for Analog and Mixed Signal Verification

Industry degree qualified, the successful applicant will have circa 5 years experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of UNIX is a must as well as a strong and proven track record in a support role or in Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design or verification. Excellent knowledge of IC design tools (e.g. Cadence Virtuoso) and flows is required as well as experience with scripting language: TCL and SKILL.You will be technically confident, a very strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, adaptable, flexible and have a pragmatic approach to problem solving. Familiarity with Cadence Open Access Design Kits and Skill language is required.

Excellent communication skills in English is required with knowledge of the French language an advantage. Due to work visa processes in Switzerland, applicants with the right to work in the EU only need apply.
