Lead Front End Developer - Oslo My client, based in the housing industry, have a successful product that makes everything stressful about having a property that much easier to handle. With their smart platform collecting, tracking and organising key information it stands out from its competitors in many ways and with building a brand new front end team, one of the main ways could be you.In this role you will be one of the first dedicated front end developer within their Oslo office and you will get the exciting tasks to help build the team alongside the product owner and CEO. This is a rare role to really make an impact within a company that has the means to do so, you will get support not only from the higher management but also from the larger company which is the parent company of this exciting venture.Your other responsibilities will include:First Front End developer in OsloBuilding a brand new team over timeWorking closely with management and UX designer to do soBuilding brand new Progressive Web application in ReactHave a lot of freedom & responsibility to choose what tech to use and what direction things will move inYou won't have someone telling you what to do, so you must be able to get things done based on your own initiative A lot of their legacy is built in Angular and are now being moved over to React.js so some migration work will be included. Their current tech stack for the Front End is Angular/React.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and the back end is based in .NET, however knowledge of this is not expected.Desired skills:JavaScript, HTML, CSSjs / AngularBuilding Web applications Beneficial but not essential is exposure to:UX Design.NETAWS (Amazon Web Services)Leading a team / mentoring junior developers This is a really exciting position for the right candidate and can offer a lot of benefits from daily work/life balance to the chance for you to make a huge impact in this position.
