My client is looking for a Customer Engagement Manager who has experience being the point of contact for the customers who are looking to upgrade to Cloud services within the defence sector.

The role is based outside of IR35.

Job Description:

Working as part of the Customer Management team, the contractor will be responsible for customer engagement and introductions, talking potential customers through the services currently provided and process they will need to complete. They will ensure customers are sentenced to the most suitable environment, their requirements are understood and they have billing set up.

You will work with Project Managers, Service Delivery, DevOps, Design, 3rd Parties and key stakeholders, to ensure you are aware of the current service offerings and that the right information is being relayed to the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

*Works with the customer throughout their journey from initial enquiry through to service transition acting as the focal point through the process

*Assists the app owner (aka customer) to understand which Defence Hosting services are available and advises on which services would best meet their requirements

*Understands the Defence Hosting services at a detailed level

*Assists the customer to capture their application hosting requirements to enable correct sentencing

*Owns and manages the Sentencing Process and represents the customer at Sentencing Panel

*Assists the customer to understand the process and responsibilities to on-board an application onto Defence Hosting.

*Ensures that the customer understands their responsibilities as defined by the Shared Responsibility Model and the process of accreditation and compliance to JSP 604

*Manages the Account Creation process via Remedy, acting as liaison between billing, DevOps and any 3rd party suppliers, ensuring billing is in place prior to the issuing of accounts

*Assists customers through the Front Door ensuring any organisation wide process are adhered to

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

*Customer Management experience in an IT organisation or environment

*Understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Azure service offerings

*Understanding of Catalogue services in an IT organisation

*Strong analytical capabilities, highly organised and good relationship management skills

*Energetic and proactive with a "can-do" attitude

*Ability to handle multiple and shifting assigned priorities

*Experience of preparing and publishing reports, agenda's, minutes

*Basic to Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products, predominantly Word and Excel
