Senior Network Engineer (Juniper Layer 2 Switching Data Centre Linux). Would you like to take on a technically challenging and stimulating role at a fast growing digital identification scale-up in a supportive environment where you will be encouraged to learn and continually improve your skillset?

As a Senior Network Engineer you will be key to designing and developing the company's core network infrastructure, working closely with systems architects and the Lead Network Engineer to help with capacity management of network resources. You'll design network architecture, assist with building monitoring and logging systems and assist with day-to-day operations and network maintenance. You'll join as they embark on a project to re-architect the Data Centre infrastructure and will get involved with calculating capacity planning for voltage, amps, hot and cold aisles in Data Centres.

You'll be based in the City with a sociable, collaborative team environment and casual dress code.

Requirements:

You're an experienced Network Engineer with a broad range technical knowledge including Juniper and Palo Alto

Strong Firewall and Security experience; Layer 2 switching; Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), PXE booting

Good understanding of Data Centre networks

Good knowledge of BGP, transit, peering and IP address space management

Linux OS

Collaborative, keen to learn and share ideas
