IT Systems Manager / IT Systems Administrator - LondonVMWare Infrastructure Setup & Maintenance, Emails, Set up of Shared Drives, Servers, DR, Storage, General Office IT Support, General Firewall, Office Security, Office IT Setup & Maintenance, Microsoft Windows Genealogy, Windows Servers 2008/2012/2016, MS Office 365, Active Directory, Desktop, Virtualisation, Installations & Upgrades, Desktop Moves & Changes, Technical Troubleshooting, Networks &Systems, Wi-Fi and FirewallsOffice Based - London, West End Based - Knightsbridge, Kensington, Mayfair£40,000pa to £50,000pa + Extensive BenefitsThis established, dynamic network services provider who are currently experiencing hyper-speed growth, are seeking a motivated and team focused IT Systems Manager and IT Administrator with experience or awareness of the ISP or Telco environment.As their IT Manager and IT System Administrator you will be the "eyes & ears" of the IT Infrastructure performing a key, pivotal role responsible for the of the company's IT Infrastructure Systems.Current user base is 150 expanding to 450 in 2020.Your key areas of expertise and responsibilities will include:VMWare Infrastructure Setup & MaintenanceEmails, Set up of Shared Drives and ServersDR, Storage, General Office IT Support, General Firewall as well as Office SecuritySolid IT operating systems (Windows), particularly Windows Server Domain controllerInstalling IT hardware and softwareResponsible for Active Directory, Group Policy, Domain administration, Windows OperationMS Office 365 and MS AzureCo-ordination with technical aspects of desk relocations, electrical testing, disaster recovery testing, physical security systemsMicrosoft qualifications, MTA, MCSA and/or CCNA will be highly desirableMaintain and administer the office IT systems and equipment, printers, scanners etcKnowledge of Network Switches routers etc will be advantageousMaintain the software licence register to ensure compliance between licences owned and used.Manage and control the firm's laptopsManage the internal cabling infrastructureHandle telephone enquiries in a professional and polite manner, taking accurate messages.Prepare correspondence on behalf of the IT Director, including the drafting of general replies.Deal with incoming/outgoing e-mails and post quickly and efficiently.Working as part of a team with other members of the Department.Any other ad hoc duties as and when required.Personal Qualities:You will be driven, ambitious and come with a challenge orientated persona.You will be highly capable of working both independently and as a group member of this organisation.You will be able to prioritise, in a rational way, between multiple customer incidents or enquiries.You will be able to produce excellent documentation for all parties internal and externalYou will develop and grow the IT infrastructure as the company growth increases.You will be able to interview, hire and recruit and add quality personnel to you team.With excellent communications skills using the telephone / verbal and written / documentation modes you will also need the skill most in demand - the ability to listen.On this client-facing platform you will need a consultative DNA, a high-level of Service Ethic, and a "Customer is King" attitude.Take this opportunity to rise above your peers and secure a role to elevate your IT career.
