Informix DBA, EAR, HDR, Database Administrator, Home based, BirminghamMy leading client is looking for a Informix DBA - you will be a key member of the Operations / Support department responsible for monitoring , maintenance and support of Informix databases running business critical applications . The key responsibilities are to Monitoring the DatabasesEnsure Data integrityMonitoring / configuring Database replication Ensuring Database security polices are enforcedStrong knowledge of Enterprise ReplicationStrong Knowledge of HDRExperience of Encryption At Rest (EAR)Performing upgrades and applying patchesApplying application derived Database changesMonitoring Database performanceMonitoring Database CapacityDatabase BuildsProvide a test environment for application support /developmentSupport of third party apps / tools Provide occasional 'Out of hours' on site support If this sounds of interest please send me your cv ASP
