Product Development Engineer, Plastic Injection Moulding, Near Cheltenham, £40,000Huxley Engineering are recruiting for a Product Development Engineer for one of their clients based near the Cheltenham area.The company specialise in the design, development and manufacture of plastic injection moulded medical devices for a number of various applications.This role is ideal for someone with experience in full life cycle product development that has an interest within the medical sector and has an aptitude for both mechanical and product design.The ideal candidate will need experience in the below areas to qualify for interview:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or Materials Science or Time Served Apprentice Capable of working in a hands-on, fast-paced, evolving environment Mechanical design experience with experience with at least one of the following technologies: plastic injection or extrusion moulding Good communication and analytical skills for interfacing with other product Developments Engineers and Product Managers within the global organisation CAD skills and design capability Manage project deadlines to achieve on-time documentation of product specifications and production launch Salary will be from £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.
