IT Support Engineer

£30,000 - £40,000

A global leading organisation based in Milton Keynes is currently recruiting for an IT support Engineer to join and help maintain the IT environment using EOL, SCCM, Microsoft Azure, Intune and Office 365 platforms. As the successful IT support Engineer You will use your in-depth understanding of the Windows OS environment up to the latest Windows 10 OS version, up to Windows Server 2016 to work with the IT Transformation Programme team, 1st to 3rd line and specialist team. You will help to provide IT Support (covering Server, VMs, LAN, desktop, mobile device, Cisco Call Manager telephony, printing and all associated services) that also meets and exceeds the agreed KPIs and also meets/exceeds users' expectations.

*You will look to escalate, own and follow through any escalated calls to Infrastructure/Network teams and to assist other areas of the business or other technical teams as deemed appropriate.

*The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Desktop Support Engineer in a senior role and be able to demonstrate a high level of EOL, SCCM, Microsoft Azure, Intune, Win 10, Office 365 and have worked in either a cloud and/or hybrid environment.

*You will have previous experience supporting MFA or SSO environment and can demonstrate high levels of customer services skills and team player focused with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

*You should be able to demonstrate knowledge of using ITSM tools such as Smart IT & Remedy and have Professional IT qualifications to back-up above knowledge - MCP, MCSE, MCSA, CCNA(desirable).

*Ideally you will be educated to HND or degree calibre or equivalent with sound working knowledge or preferably a holder of ITILv3 or 4 Foundation. You will have previous demonstrable experience of working in a demanding customer facing environment and experienced in working in an ITIL working environment.

*You will have strong experience of supporting PC technology, good experience of networking technology and strong experience of Server/VM technology.
