The Opportunity The Automotive Industry is undergoing a revolution seeing one of the biggest influx of technology of any industry and is rapidly transforming, we want Software Developers who are willing to apply their skills to new and exciting challenges enabling the transformation in the Automotive Industry. You will be part of a team delivering innovation to enable autonomous driving, connectivity and IOT. We are looking for passion and those wanting to develop new and innovative software working in a collaborative group of mixed skills to deliver incredible software, automotive experience is not required. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Responsible for developing and testing software across platforms and ecosystems to enable connectivity features for our vehicles. You will be part of a highly skilled embedded Software Development Team working across a range of projects from production to advanced projects.You will be expected to follow exception software development principles and must be passionate about delivering high quality software though modern Agile and Lean approaches. Knowledge, Skills and Experience You will be adept at working in an agile team and have the ability and willingness to pick up new languages and development environments with ease. You should have commercial software development experience of embedded systems or applications and have development experience in either C, C++ or Java. Knowledge and experience of Linux is beneficial as is knowledge and or experience of implementing best practises for software development i.e. TDD, Coding Standards, Static. You'll have worked with CICD tools i.e. Gitlab/ Jenkins and may have touched on edge computing, telecoms, real-time application development, Linux kernel, virtualization, SOA, RTOS, ASIL/SIL, microkernel operating systems, cyber security or artificial Intelligence.
